Collective - a solo exhibition of little artworks

I'm thrilled to announce my solo exhibition "Collective" at Kairos Massage & Skincare in Elizabethtown, PA. Thirty five artworks hang in this beloved downtown business. It may seem unusual to display artwork in a massage studio, however, this space was an art gallery until a few years ago. The new owners wanted to honor the history of the building and fill their empty walls with artwork. I am honored to be the artist they asked!

I thoroughly enjoy every second I spend in their peaceful hallways. The space is specifically designed for relaxation and I could feel my typical high-anxiety melt away as I measured walls and hung the work in this space. The sound of flowing water from their fountains, ambient music, and gentle voices of the therapists lulled me into spending extra time there "just to see how things were going."

"Collective" is the result of several years of work after a hiatus from fine art. A variety of themes are presented as I explored my thoughts, skills, and interests. The small size of the work aligns with the space at Kairos to provide a sampling of art to viewers.

An Art Reception will be held on Friday July 9th from 5:00 till 7:00pm. Refreshments will be available and all are welcome to attend this event during the E-town 2nd Friday. I will be there to meet the E-town art-loving community and converse one-on-one about my work. Reproductions, greeting cards, and hand-painted jewelry will be available for purchase.
